Prayer
Dec 12, 2023
I want the Lord to dwell in me like a home
I want the bed to be made, but sat on, rumpled
I want the wear and tear, a leaky ceiling
I want to be lived in.
I pray I do not gather dust
That His prints would not show in a fine layer on a shelf out of reach
I pray the couch cushions hold His shape and His footsteps track on my floors
That all who are welcomed in would know He lives in me
